Ethical rules

The Editorial Board of "Veritas Juris" is committed to maintaining the high ethical standards of the journal. Articles submitted for publication are evaluated for reliability, meeting ethical standards and contribution to science.

The applicable rules are based on COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Rules on editing

Publication decisions
The Editor-in-Chief adheres to the current state of the law regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism, and is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the Editorial Board should be published.

Confidentiality
No member of the editorial team is allowed to disclose information about a submitted paper to any person other than in accordance with the publishing procedure.

Disclosure and conflict of interest
Unpublished articles or their excerpts may not be used in the research of the editorial team members' or reviewers' own research without the express written permission of the author.

Rules for authors

Authorship of the work
Authorship should be limited to individuals who significantly contributed to the idea, design, execution or interpretation of the work. All persons who contributed to the work should be listed as co-authors.

Disclosure and conflict of interest
The author should disclose any sources of funding for projects in his or her work, as well as any relevant conflicts of interest that may affect the results or interpretation of the work.

Originality and plagiarism
The author submits only original work to the editor. He or she should make sure that the names of authors cited in the paper and/or excerpts from works cited are properly cited or mentioned in the paper. Each article is subjected to anti-plagiarism checks.

Ghostwriting/guestautorship
Ghostwriting/guestautorship are a manifestation of scientific dishonesty and any detected cases will be exposed. The author makes a statement aimed at preventing the practice of ghostwriting/guestautorship.

Rules for reviewers

Confidentiality
All reviewed papers are treated as confidential documents.

Anonymity
All reviews are performed anonymously, and the Editorial Board does not share author data with reviewers.

Standards of objectivity
Reviews should be performed objectively and fairly.

Disclosure and conflict of interest
Confidential information or ideas arising from the review must be kept confidential and may not be used for other purposes. Reviewers may not review papers for which there is a conflict of interest arising from a relationship with the author.
