The Importance Of Sustainable Reporting In Ensuring Ecological Safety

Abstract

The aim of the article “The importance of sustainable reporting in ensuring ecological safety” is
to show how sustainable reporting affects the ecological awareness of citizens and entrepreneurs
and how this translates into ensuring ecological safety. The authors of the article define the
problem of progressive climate change and answer the question whether economic development
and environmental protection are mutually exclusive. They refer to environmental protection
obligations arising from ratified international agreements and European Union law. The article
presents ESG data from other EU countries and reporting in other regions of the world.
